The home page

The home page consists of a left-hand navigation, a search field, a Best Seller list, a New Title list, a Publishing Guide, News, Author Spotlight and a Video Testimonial.

 

Hint: Click the UniBook logo on the upper left corner to return to the home page.

How do I search for a book?
You can search for a book title, an author name and one or more keywords, by using the search field on top of every page.

It is also possible to search for books by category, and by best selling author.

You can search for a book by category:

  • Click on Bookstore in left-hand navigation. List of categories will be displayed. Click on desired category.
    All books from this category are listed in the center of the page.


You can search for a book by best selling author:

  • On the homepage, Top Selling authors are listed in the upper right-hand corner. Click "More Sellers" to see entire list of top 10 sellers.
    The books of this (top) author are listed in the center of the page.

The shopping basket

You can put the book that you want to buy in your shopping basket:

  • Click on the button [Add to basket] next to the book you want.


You can view what is in your shopping basket:

  • The 'Shopping Basket' link is displayed at the top of all pages of UniBook


You can change the content of your shopping basket by removing books from your basket or changing the number of books to buy:

  • The 'Shopping Basket' link is displayed at the top of all pages of UniBook
    The content of your shopping basket is shown.
    or
  • Click in the header menu |MY SHOPPING BASKET|
    The content of your shopping basket is shown.
  • Click 'Remove' to remove a book from the shopping basket.
    Your changes are saved and showed.
  • Fill in the changed number of books to buy.
  • Click [Continue Shopping] if you like to search for other books.
    The changes in your shopping basket will be saved.
    or
  • Click the button [Check Out] to pay for your selections.
    The changes of the shopping basket are saved and you are directed to the check out.

Check out

When finished browsing books and all books you want are added to the shopping basket, you can order them on our website. Other items, like gift cards may be purchased separately.

  • On any page of UniBook click on "Shopping Basket". Click

Hint: Click the UniBook logo on the upper left corner to return to the home page.

Sign in

If you are not yet signed in, you have to do this first.

  • Sign in with your e-mail address and password, if you already are a registered user.
    or
  • Click "I am a new visitor..." in order to register yourself for free.

Step 1/3: Shipping Information

Fill in the shipping information:

  • Fill in your address.
    If you already saved your address in your profile data, this address is automatically filled in.
  • Click "Save this address as my default" when you want the system to remember your address.
    If selected, the address is saved in your profile.
  • If the shipping address differs from your address, fill in the shipping address.
Step 2/3: My Order: An Overview
  • Review your order. If any volume discount is applicable, it is indicated here as well.
  • When you want to pay by gift card, click [Pay by gift card].
    • Fill in the code of your gift card.
    • Fill in the password of your gift card.
    • Click [Pay]
      There are no credits when using a gift card.Please spend the full amount of your gift card. We cannot reimburse for any unused portion or apply it to other purchases.

Step 3/3: Confirmation and Payment
  • Click [Confirm].
    You will be directed to a secured website for the payment. The following payment methods are accepted: VISA, Bancontact/MC and FIdeal.
    Please notice that billing, in case of purchase, will be charged in the currency of the country in which the books are produced.
Order Confirmation

When the payment is successfully processed, you will see an order confirmation.

  • You will receive an e-mail with the overview of your order.
Volume Discount

When you buy several copies of a book, we apply a volume discount. The discount is shown in the overview of the order.

How do I add a book review?

As a buyer of a book, you can, if you like, add a review and share your opinion on a book with other UniBook users. In order to do so, you must be signed in.

  • Click on top of the UniBook site [Sign in].
  • Fill in your e-mail address.
  • Fill in your password.
  • [Continue]
  • Search the book you would like to review.
  • Click read more.
  • Select your appraisal.
  • Write down your opinion.
  • Click [Add review].

Authors may not review there own books, but other readers can.

How do I buy a gift card?

You can add a gift card, in the amount of your choosing, to your shopping basket.

  • Click at the left of the homepage Buy a gift card.
  • Fill in the amount.
  • Fill in a password.
  • Repeat this password a second time, for confirmation.
  • Click [Add to shoppingbasket]

The payment is handled the same way as the payment of books.

You may make purchases on the UniBook website with a gift card.
